What a fabulous Banquet of Blessing we had this year on Thursday evening, May 8, at the RIT Inn and Conference Center in Henrietta. Over 275 people were in attendance to share in fellowship and break bread together, see our slide show, hear video testimonies from some of our clients, soak in the special music, and receive an exhortation from our keynote speaker, Bishop Gregory L. Parris. And at the close, people were more than generous in supporting God’s work through His Branches with donations totaling over $50,000! All Praise and Glory be to the King of Kings!
Bishop Parris is a local pastor, businessman, musician and community leader who knows us well and holds our mission closely in his heart. He is senior pastor of Church of Love Faith Center in Rochester, NY and in metropolitan Washington, DC. In addition to his role as pastor, Bishop Parris also serves as director of the University of Rochester Christian Fellowship, director of a local multi-cultural organization of pastors (S.T.R.I.K.E.), member of the board of directors of Reconciliation! International Ministries, and adjunct professor at Monroe Community College. Bishop Parris was formerly an Associate Director of Development for the George Eastman Circle at the University of Rochester as well as Northeastern Seminary.
